"Quite disappointing at nearly £30 for two, I expected a better afternoon tea. Sandwiches were plain, tuna mayo heavy on mayo. Four quarters per person so not generous. The worst part was the stale scones. I don't even think they were yesterday's scones, they tasted like they were two days old. So, so dry. I wanted to draw the staff's attention to this but nobody came to ask how our lunch was so it just would have felt awkward to approach them. Also I would have hoped to see homemade cakes at a place like this but they are cardboard wrapped and synthetic tasting. It's a shame.
