"I visited The Old Bear for lunch on Thursday, December 21, 2017, with my daughter. We both ordered the smaller portion of the Christmas turkey dinner, and it was excellent. There was plenty of turkey, stuffing, and a lovely array of sides, including perfectly roasted potatoes and parsnips, brussels sprouts, carrots, and, surprisingly, some spiced red cabbage that was absolutely divine! I would give five stars just for the red cabbage alone! We both managed to indulge in a few scoops of Marshfield ice cream to finish off our meal. It's a great place that also serves a fantastic pint of Doom Bar!"
