"Service is really poor. I travel through France and to make it simple, a dish of the day is the simplest solution since they do a lot over a given period. In this place it took all the main flat meal and dessert two hours. Of course, we paid the price of a Michelin star restaurant with a quality of food and a brewery service. In addition to this, there were bread crumbs in the glasses that were brought to the table, the main dish was served with non-mature and hard peaches and even the coffee was bad and cold. I really thought that after the pandemic, restaurants would appreciate the company, but it is clear that places like this continue to act as if we make them service by eating what they have to offer. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. (Original view) Very bad service. "Cig koftemThis is a great vegan Turkish or middle eastern fast-food chain we stumbled on in Strasbourg. It’s about a 10 minute walk from the train station, and we spotted it as we just arrived in town and were headed to meet up with friends. Thankfully this outlet has a large vegan neon sign in the window, otherwise we wouldn’t have given it a second look. This review is meant to draw more attention to the place – as it never came up when we scoured restaurants in the area before our trip.Everything save for a yogurt drink in this place is vegan. I guess that’s not the case with all branches of this chain. While the menus are in French, the staff were incredibly helpful with trying to help me order, and confirming what was and wasn’t vegan. The menu is limited – the cig koftem are offered in a lavash wrap, in burger form (maybe just for kids), and as stand-alone patties/fritters. I ordered 2 wraps and we split a box of the fritters. I have never eaten traditional meat or lamb cig koftem, so I have no comparison to offer. I found the cig koftem delicious – tangy, flavorful and a bit spicy. It paired well with the fresh veggies and herbs in the wrap (lettuce, cucumbers, mint, parsley, lemon, tomatoes). We didn’t finish everything, so think that a light eater could easily get away with just ordering one wrap. The cig koftem aren’t heavy or that greasy, so they’re perfect for lunchtime eating. While I enjoyed the taste – it would not be something I’d want to eat every day. Overall, I’d recommend this place if you’re in the mood for cheap, healthy & unusual food. Given the limited options in France for vegans, Cig koftem is even more of a find. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful. The restaurant was clean too."
