"We have just returned from the pleasant, Saturday night atmosphere in the Tavern. The staff were very welcoming and keen to share their local knowledge. There were three of us eating and two went for homemade pies and the other went for the veggie risotto. All were delicious and top notch 'pub grub '. We look forward to the pub quiz tomorrow (weekly at 7pm on a Sunday) and enjoy the friendly feel we did tonight. A must visit if staying in or passing through Tansley. Thanks again!
