"Pre booked . On arrival the man behind the bar just pointed to a table when we walked in..didn’t even speak ! We ordered drinks while looking at the menu these seemed to take ages to arrive. The man behind the bar was talking on the phone taking orders not making the drinks that’s why they were taking so long to arrive ! We ordered our our food from a waiter who looked like he wished he was somewhere else, not serving us.. No customer service or social skills .. The food arrived as did the hot plates. The mixed grill was a tad burnt , but tasty. The food was all very nice. We felt like the place just lacked any atmosphere."

"Amazing visit. 1st time here but I can tell you defo not our last. The atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming as was the host. The pizza were truly amazing, a d on par with anything on Italy. Had the great experience of watching the Chef create new dough starter, for the 16hr fermentation which give the dough and crust an amazing flavour. Do your selva a cheap favour and get here on a Wednesday, 2-4-1 on eat in pizza that will blow your taste buds! Well done John and Chef, great evening. Thanks."

"Whilst staying in the area, dined almost daily at Sorrento’s for Lunch (solo) and with Family for dinner. Only one word can only describe this Italian Restaurant, ‘Specttacolre,’ from the moment you enter, you are warmly greeted and seated in this incredibly cozy eatery. The Minestrone Soup was incredible, I would take back containers of the soup if we were not dining at Sorrento’s that evening. Lunch would include one of the salads, and the bread basket, Dinner, highly recommend the the Fettuccine Bolognese. Save room for the Desserts, adored the pancakes with Toffee sauce and Vanilla ice cream, out of this World. One of the Best Dining experiences I have enjoyed in England."

"We celebrated my daughters baby shower here and had the bottomless cocktails afternoon tea. I have to say, the service was impeccable, staff were quick to make the cocktails, we were not rushed to start and staff were constantly checking if we needed anything. The food was amazing. Would definitely recommend a visit here. Thank you to all the staff for making the day special. Food: 5"

"Food wasn't bad, however very let down by the service. We made a booking online, which stated we had 2hours on the table. We were immediately rushed off the table after our main (Roughly 1hour 15mins after arrival). Starters went well and tasted lovely (although slight overpriced in my opinion), my plate for my main was taken away very quickly and when asking for a few minutes to look at the dessert menu and let our food settle and digest, we were told we could not have these few minutes and had to decide now because they required the table. We found this incredibly rude and not consistent with the 2hour booking that we made. That evening I suffered from a stomach ache and very bad acid reflux due to being rushed to eat and leave. I'm extremely disappointed with the restaurant. You cannot treat people like this, especially for the prices you are charging. We will not be back."

"I haven’t been to Pizza Express for sometime and my nephew wanted to visit for his 13th birthday. Oh dear! Talk about deterioration! My starter was Garlic King Prawns- well that was disappointing, the ‘King’ element of the prawns was clearly lost in translation as the stewed prawns and tomatoes really failed miserably. The description read much better than the product (Garlic King Prawns £7.75 Juicy king prawns, garlic butter, tomatoes, roasted peppers and chilli flakes with fresh tomatoes, red onion and parsley, served with Dough Balls). The ‘King’ prawns came from a kingdom of mini prawns! The pizzas appeared to have become smaller and slightly thicker and the flavour was very disappointing (I had Sloppy Giuseppe £13.45 and extra garlic). My family had their own choices and none of us came away feeling we had had something good. I live in the south of France and although I swear by the fact that cuisine is far superior in the UK that France nowadays, I’m not sure I can attribute that to Pizza in the UK. I think we will have to find a little independent pizza restaurant next time and hopefully we will come away feeling that we enjoyed our food. Perhaps I should also mention that my meal has had the effect of sending me to the toilet five times since last night!!"

"the worst indian ive ever had, the service was unbeleivabley bad they rushed us in and out in under an hour, and that was at saturday night with only tables to serve, when we had asked for a break between couses, when they brought the main course mins after the starters they just laughed at us!!. the food was rubbish apart from the chicken chat starter, needless to say they did not get a tip!!!!! avoid at all cost not even worth a visit after the pub."
