"that is a jewel of a local place! we came to a recommendation from my host who lives 2 minutes away. I met a few friends to dinner and needed a cheap place to go. it's small, but the 3 employees. the people there welcomed us and asked us where we came from. my man tried a French beer that he thought was really good. he had no beer for 20 years. I am quite picky when it comes to Italian eating, because I am from philadelphia who has the best Italian eating in the country imho. I saw that they had kartoffel gnocchis with meat sauce on the menu that is one of my favorite dishes. I ordered that. my man ordered lasagne and my friend ordered pizza. they brought my food, of course beautifully presented. good portion size. I thought it was good enough, but I was really surprised to find that this court was amazing! most restaurants overcook pasta, especially gnocchis. it was boiled al dente without having to ask for it. I loved the meat sauce, a bolognaise. I eaten every bite. my man said the lasagne he had was also excellent. my friend said he enjoyed his pizza, they played praising music over the pa. I thought it was muzak or so, but I thought I realized the vote of the tenor. I asked the waiter who was slower. he didn't know, but he put a music CD cover on the table. it was a mario lanza cd! I knew he sounded familiar. if they don't know, lanza is a very famous philadelphia. I told the waiter that this singer comes from the same city I'm coming from, all three people thought that was interesting. it should be to come to this place. it was overcrowded at this small place and a little warm. we have finished our eating and continued our conversation in the cooler air. we thank all for the wonderful dinner. be sure they will come early to get a good place! great eating and personal."
