The menu was a mix of ambitious seasonal cuisine (a wonderful vegetarian mille feuille, e.g. and standard tourist fare like spaghetti bolognese (nobidy tried that while we were there . The waiter and the waitress conversed in whatever language came up. Including puns about the difference between Italian and Portuguese.
