"my wife and I celebrated our first anniversary for a pleasant dinner and reserved to eat here on the anniversary day. We had incredible food during our visit to the coast of the azur, but the star had the best of all! the menu was very unique and original, taking modern turns on classic flavors. on the photo, it's the best aperitif we've ever had the fatty liver burnt. We also enjoyed wonderful desserts and wines in this beautiful restaurant nestled in Villefranche. I highly recommend this restaurant to all those who are close or far from pleasant. We'll be back soon! (Notice of Origin) my wife and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary in good condition and made a reservation to eat here on the anniversary date. "After a trip to the beach, we stopped at the lou bantry to eat a crêpe. The crêpes are very good (crêpe marron cream, and crêpe banana split ( huge!)!! back on townfranche, we wanted to have lunch at the lou bantry. very good inputs (artichokes purple with parmesan and zucchini blossom doughs,) good dish (carpaccio de beef,) small flat for the dish of the day (Thai salt) much too much sauce, it masked the taste of other foods, my spouse could not finish her plate. nice welcome."

"We have visited Villefranche many times in the past and Les Garcia has been out favorite for several years. Sometimes in a weeklong trip, we would visit the restaurant three times. We had always found food to be excellent, the service friendly, and the prices reasonable. We had dinner at the restaurant last night, and we were extremely disappointed. The food was mediocre at best, and the prices have skyrocketed. Two of us ordered sea bream. The portions were small and nicely browned, but flooded in sauce. The apple tart was served flambéyed but the liquor was excessive and the taste of the liquor afterwards was overpowering. was pervasive afterwards. Most surprisingly, it was the cost. Prices have previously been very competitive with other some of the restaurants in the town, but they were really high now. In particular the cost of the desserts was exorbitant, much higher than other similar restaurants and equivalent to prime dining restaurants. We were very disappointed."

"Really disappointed about the restaurant. My parents went few years before and they really liked, this is why we went again. First we got some piece of bread that were definitly not from the day. Then we took “gnocchi with zuccha and beetroot”. There got absolutely no taste. Zucchini (the orange one) was served in a sort of purée with absolutely no taste!!! Same for beetroot I absolutely did not taste it. There should have been some cheese in the gnocchi… but again we all did not taste it. Quantity was not a lot and the plate cost 30euros! My husband took the poulp which was not bad I have to say. But this was just a poulp with potatoes purée no more… so quite simple and again 30euros. By the way as this poulp was not bad I added one star to my review instead of putting only one. As we were all quite dispointes we took nothing else…. The chef told us he wanted to do like “high standard food” which is something he maybe do not understood. Using product with no taste definitly does not make good food. Bref… a big disappointment for this one and a big bill at the end. I do not recommend at all…"

"Spent several hours on 1/7 in Villefranche. Took the bus 607 from Nice and returned by train only 2 stops back to Nice Ville. The town, harbour and beaches are busy but worth a visit. Pretty and the views are very lovely out to sea and along the coast. The Med water warm too. However watch out getting the train back to Nice. The train you take comes from Monaco onto platform 2 and is very busy we had to wait for a 2nd train to arrive 1st one was jam packed when it arrived in villefranche. Getting tickets is by a machine on the platform self serve. There are queues and lots of eyes and whilst navigating this someone lifted our credit card and some cash. We were in a large crowd with little wiggle room so easier to pretend they are pushing you nearer the train when it arrives on the platform, whilst they actually have a hand in your bags instead. Please be careful. It certainly spoilt our day out."

"The sewer stopped me and a friend and refused to get us in because we wear the hijab. We were shocked. Really nothing more to say. .Answer to your comment: you can tell all you want here .. but there were people who attested to your discrimination. The evidence when we came there were two empty seats and you told us that it was closed. After 1:00 we came back to the terrace and all the places were complete... learn to be human please."
