"After reading the rave reviews, we decided to give the place a try. I was a bit disappointed. The place is small, and the tables are placed quite close to each other, so you can easily see other people’s plates and, if they are not careful, hear what people are saying. The décor is pleasant and the service generally efficient, although I was taken aback when our waitress, after the first course of a salmon dish with a frothy lemon sauce, gave me back my dirty knife and fork. I had to hold them in my hand until the next dish was served so as not to soil the table cloth. Isn’t it possible to give people new cutlery with each course? Along the lines of scarce tableware, another situation arose. Each diner is given a complementary assortment of little treats (mise en bouche) before ordering (see photo). One of these treats involves a piece of watermelon and foamy sauce in a tiny cup. Since no spoon small enough to fit into the cup was provided, I tried to simply “toss it back,” treating it like a shot glass (it’s about that size). However, the watermelon chunk made this a clumsy option. Isn’t it possible to offer a small spoon to better consume the appetizers? As for the food itself, we took the most expensive menu option. Both courses featured a frothy sauce: the salmon and the sushi for the first course and the beef and scallops for the second. The sushi and scallops were average, but the salmon and beef were quite good, although the beef was a bit more done than requested. The salmon starter had an original frothy lemon sauce that paired nicely with the fish. The overdone but tender beef came with delicious fried mashed potatoes in little squares, with a creamy interior. However, my favorite dish was a complementary mashed potato plate offered between the first and second course: creamy, tasty, and freshly made. It’s too bad about their policy of having no wine (or any alcoholic drink) to pair with the dishes, although judging from the tables around me, coca cola and alcohol-free mojitos were popular substitutes. For dessert, the chocolate sphere is both spectacular and quite good, particularly if you like different textures of chocolate."

"Finally a new restaurant that deserves to come and give its opinion on Tripadvisor. We first discovered the excellent turn of hand to make mellow homemade pizza at the first entrance. real pizza very scented by bouquets of condiments, anchovies and olive oil and real cheese. for my second entry based on an excellent fish terrine garnished salad. follow for me a wolf with a scented sauce with small vegetables. Finally, a real creamy shotamisu to wish, nothing to do with the last 100 guys of the same defrosted type that I was able to swallow in different restaurants that I wouldn't quote here. here nothing but 100% house kitchen and it even reconciled me with the tiramisu. aperitating the kir and then the red wine pot of the super boss. Excellent coffee. In short, we spent a wonderful evening in a room apart in the backyard of the restaurant for small groups of about thirty guests as if we received his friends at home in his living room. I strongly recommend this restaurant recently taken over by a large Lyon restaurant that has been serving tens of years in the peninsula of lyon. his former accustomed will recognize him only to the intact quality of his kitchen transferred to this new lyon site in Villeurbanne. Well, the trap was to resist not taking too many pizza in the first entry to finish the dessert at the end of the meal. In short, we came out super-seated and all this for much less than 30 euros per convive drink and coffee included. I even sausage the wolf's plate, they say it's not good but when it's good it's good"
