"Do not believe the 5 star reviews. This is the worst place we have ever stayed. The food is just thrown on the plate and horrible. Everything is old and stained Carpets are disgusting Staff are friendly but boy do they need training The mattress was too small for the bed It is closer to a student squat than an Inn And there are lovely places to stay in the area that are a lot cheaper DO NOT EAT OR STAY HERE Rooms: Very tired whilst clean our room was as if staying at a very poor relatives house Nearby activities: The area is amazing. But stay at places near by. NOT here Food drinks: Horrible. See picture. Menu was chips plus something else. Breakfast was just things thrown into a plate Noteworthy details: No view of the river. No view of nearby castle very noisy road outside. Just horrible"
