"We stopped going her because the food was getting bad but after some months and a recommendations from my son in law we have been going to the Sunday buffets. Well last night was a joke I can’t rate the food as in an hour and a half all we received was the stater and a round of drinks. Whilst we were sat eating our starter literally a coach load of people arrived. Absolutely fantastic for them however not so good for us! We had 2 young children and a 11 day old baby with us. The intention was the Mum could eat before baby woke for her bottle. We had the starters on 3 occasions we asked for more drinks for the children which didn’t arrive we were going to pop to Tesco and get some drinks).Waiter after waiter kept walking past and never took our mains order or brought the drinks. We ended up sharing the glass of water and my coke with them! My chair was behind the main door I absolutely lost my s with people banging the door on me. After 45 minutes of waiting we had enough the children who had been good considering they were thirsty and hungry we decided we would pay for what we had eaten and go. It was only then that the manager and waiters showed any interest or empathy at all. They packed up the order that we had managed to give but I insisted we didn’t want it I was so annoyed I wasn’t hungry. Never again Anmol we gave you the benefit of the doubt but you managed to alienate us yet again. Good luck for the future word of advice don’t p off you local bread and butter customers they are the ones that kept you going through Covid!"

"Me and my partner visited this cafe this afternoon for lunch for what we thought would be a treat. How wrong we were! I don’t normally write reviews but We had to with this. If I could give it 0 stars I would. Disappointing as we pass this cafe everyday wanting to try it. Upon waking in we noticed that the chef at the front of the cafe wiping his nose on his top dirty clothes and Half of it was unbuttoned and he had no beard net on. This was the first red flag. We stood for a moment to look at the menu we and was abruptly told to sit down and the waitress would take the order from the table. After sitting down we noticed that there is not much choice at all on the ‘menu’ which was dirty, sticky and caked in food and needed updating. After being sat down for less than 2 minutes and had not had a chance to decide what we wanted the waitress asked us what we wanted to order. When we explained that we wanted 10 minutes to decide she was back every 2 minutes demanding that we placed an order. I ordered a sausage barm which come on toast and my partner ordered a full English breakfast and asked for no mushrooms which came with mushrooms! When we were given cutlery it was filthy, and caked in food. The glass we were given for a can of coke was filthy and had not been washed. As she forgot our can of coke and we politely pointed this out she then rudely snapped and said ‘I’m getting that right now’ Which made us feel very uncomfortable. I also found a black hair in my food. Probably beard hair from the chef! After my partner visiting the toilet he had a glimpse of behind the counter and it was messy and dirty. When we were in there we just wanted to pay and get out. Never again!"

"this was our first visit to the filiale stockton heath, in which usually at ego sheffield and dore. When we arrived at the restaurant for our booking, a coworker stood in the entrance area, who held himself to a table of the guests, it was clear that she was personally acquired. uninhabited with this situation, we stood and waited patiently insecure whether we should continue to drive into the main part of the restaurant. So we stood and stood a bit longer, the whole time was ignored by the waitress who had a conversation with her friends. she only had to scream to us to go through, and someone would sit down, but instead she left us for a ridiculously long time until she complained, came by and do the work she paid! it was not as if she had them back to us and was not aware of our presence, she was aware that we were waiting. if it had not been for the fact that we had a booking, we would have gone out! we finally sat, gave a drink menu and immediately asked what we wanted to drink without being given the opportunity to actually read the menu. we wanted to decide a few minutes, this led to a dirty look from the waitress. when she came back to take the order, she insisted on interrupting and even having the nerve to finish my husbands to a start! when eating arrived, it was okay, nothing special and certainly not as good as other ego restaurants. the flatbread was in the did a very boiled pack, so hard it was impossible to cut. the topping was minimal, which led to an extremely dry eating. the wine was good, but not served cold enough. the personal has not checked us at any point or asked if we want more drinks. we were asked when the same dark haired waitress tasted our teller when we wanted to dessert one, but at this point we wanted to pay the bill and get out. a very disappointing visit if you consider how much we enjoy both the food and the service in other ego restaurants throughout the country."

"We decided to order from The Cottage restaurant tonight. After searching Google for the best curry in Warrington, we found The Cottage among the top recommendations. The restaurant offers a mix of Indian cuisine and other dishes, such as Sunday roasts. Strange from a curry house ? When we called to inquire about delivery, we were informed that card payments were only accepted online, and that phone orders required cash payments due to their lack of secure card payment processing by phone. This clarity on their payment methods was appreciated. When I attempted to pay via their website, I was frustrated to find that it required a PayPal account and did not allow direct card payments. The online ordering process was cumbersome and kept crashing. Ultimately, I called and placed my order over the phone. and paid cash The person who took my order was friendly but appeared to be multitasking, as he was also serving customers and talking to others in the background. He even mistakenly referred to me as madam despite my giving my name as Mr. indicating a lack of attention. and leaveing on on hold at times while multi tasking Ordering the takeaway was straightforward, and I was told it would take about an hour, even though I live only 25 minutes away? After an hour had passed, I called to check on the status of my order. I was told the driver had left and then after checking with his colleagues, he confirmed my address and apologized for the delay, stateing it being a busy Friday night. We ended up waiting 1 hour and 25 minutes for the delivery. and being told hes waiting for a driver did they forget ? Hence being told 3 things drivers left, adress correct, waiting for driver)? When the food arrived, the delivery person quickly took the money and left. Upon opening the food, we found the portions to be small compared to other local curry houses. The food was cold and bland, which was disappointing given the positive reviews. It seems that the in-house dining experience might be better than the takeaway, as the food was neither hot nor flavorful. The lengthy wait and the quality of the food did not justify the cost. Nor wait A potential way to improve our experience would have been to waive the delivery fee due to the delay. The quality and portion sizes of the food were unsatisfactory, especially considering the price. Additionally, the naan bread was awful—cold, thick, tasted strange and not at all what a Peshawari naan should taste like. In conclusion, I suggest visiting the restaurant in person to collect your order or dine in, as the positive reviews likely reflect the in-house dining experience rather than the takeaway service. For management, I recommend either reassessing the takeaway service if long wait times continue. And ensuring that the food is delivered at the correct temperature and in adequate portions. Based on this experience, I won’t be ordering from here again. Based on this first experance again i told them it was first time what a shame ! :"
