"Having had the privilege to sample Crisci's meals a couple of times, we have to applaud him and his restaurant for doing three things.First for consistency in its decor, professionalism, welcoming attitude, and all the elements that combine to create a first-rate experience.Second, for the food, which on any given day is a delight for the senses, be it the presentation or combination of flavors. More importantly, there's a refreshing willingness to experiment which is often very successful and surprising (a few years back it was about using chocolate in unheard of ways).Third, for keeping it real and not disappearing up their own back-sides. Yes, this is fine dining, but - and this is a distinction in Europe - you're never treated as though you're lucky to even be there. There's a sense that Crisci and his staff want to make you discover things and take you a fun journey, something that really makes them stand out.We recommend this wholeheartedly.
