"Ok, admittedly many traditional Viennese restaurants can be somewhat disappointing due to no imagination in the kitchen, but this place is different. Each dish I had was a refreshing twist on some of the Austrian greatest hits. The meatloaf and bread dish was made fresh with capers and artichokes in the loaf, bread was fresh and hardy, and the Dijon sauce was heavenly I want the sauce recipe! The apple strudel was with apricots (in season) and the coulis with the strudel was light and fresh, seemingly not from a bottle. The coffee was think and rich and the service was polite, typically unfriendly, but polite. The only thing taking away from the experience is the busy intersection and some corresponding noise."
