"I wasn't very hungry, so I looked for a restaurant close to my hotel where I could get a nice salad. This restaurant came up with pretty good reviews, though one of them complained that their Nicoise salad was not Nicoise. Well, I had no such experience. Although I had to wait a bit, despite being only one of three people seated for dinner, it was worth it. I was given the best salad Nicoise I have ever had. It was composed of very fresh lettuce (several types), both cherry and beef-steak tomatoes, cucumber, anchovies, chips of a hard cheese (probably Emmenthal), hard boiled egg, and topped off with a pan-fried piece of red tuna that had a basil pesto on it. It was almost a meal in itself and was simply lovely. It is almost across the street from another great restaurant, "Le Bistroquet", but the two have entirely different menus. If one is full, then the other may have a table. Either one will be a good choice."
