"Unfortunately our visit yesterday as a couple was a disappointment. The ambience was anything but inviting for a restaurant that relies on high prices. The rooms seem cramped and very loud. You also look out over a supermarket, which doesn't make the whole thing particularly appealing. The open kitchen is interesting, but the background noise is so loud that you can hardly understand your own words. When the restaurant is at full capacity, entertaining is almost impossible. We also sat on wobbly garden chairs and the table itself was also unstable. About the food: The quality of the food was far below what you would expect at these prices. It tasted bland and not well thought out, and the food also had the impression that it had been thawed. After consuming it, we both had severe stomach pains that lasted until the next day. It was almost worrying as we had to deal with severe cramps throughout the night. The question arose as to whether we were dealing with food poisoning. Price-performance ratio doesn't fit here at all, and we would definitely have chosen another restaurant that would have offered us more. The service was also disappointing. The service was neither friendly nor attentive. A simple “thank you” at the end of the bill was the ultimate feeling. The food was carelessly prepared, which was also clearly noticeable in the care provided by the staff. Conclusion: This was definitely our first and last visit to this restaurant. We eat out regularly and are good cooks ourselves, but this visit was the worst we've ever had. Unfortunately we cannot recommend the restaurant. If you are looking for a romantic or relaxed dinner, you should go somewhere else. We absolutely cannot understand the positive reviews. Since this is a franchise concept and we have already visited the same restaurant in Neuhausen (where the visit was highly recommended), we unfortunately cannot recommend this location."

"Ich war in den vergangenen 5 Jahren mindestens 2 mal pro Jahr im Pata Negra essen. Die Küche ist im Verhältnis preislich ambitioniert aber qualitativ auf einem konstant guten Niveau. Das Ambiente im Inneren und insbesondere im verwinkelten Außenbereich vermittelt Urlaubsflair. Die Servicequalität variiert stark in Abhängigkeit der Servicekraft. Neu ist allerdings die Erkenntnis, das Kinder(wagen) UNERWÜNSCHT sindWir waren an einem Mittwoch im September gegen 19:30 Uhr im Pata Negra. Im Restaurant war kein Tisch besetzt, im schönen Außenbereich hinter dem Lokal gut die Hälfte. Wir waren mit 4 Erwachsenen, einem Kind und erstmalig einem Kinderwagen dort. Gerne hätten wir im Außenbereich Platz genommen was uns leider verwehrt wurde. Obwohl ca. die Hälfte der Tische frei waren, wurde uns ein 4-Personentisch am Kellerabgang angeboten mit dem Hinweis den Kinderwagen doch in den zugigen Durchgang zum Kellerabgang zu stellen, andernfalls würde er stören. Ich habe mit dem Hinweis auf das schlafende Kind im Kinderwagen abgelehnt. Ich habe hiernach explizit nach dem benachbarten Tisch für 6 Personen gefragt und darum gebeten einen Stuhl wegzustellen, um dort dann den Kinderwagen zu platzieren. Außerdem hätte dann auch die 5. Person, das Kind unserer Freunde, einen eigenen Platz gehabt. Die Servicekraft teilte uns klar mit, dass ein 6-er Tisch nicht mit 5 Personen besetzt werden kann, des Umsatzes wegen. Mein vorsichtiger Hinweis, dass viele weitere Tische mit weniger Personen als maximal möglich besetzt sind, wurde einfach überhört.Ich habe hierauf nach einem benachbarten 4er Tisch am Rand gefragt und darum gebeten den Kinderwagen dort an die Wand zu stellen. Dort würde der Wagen auch stören, ear die knappe und klare Ansage. Mit einem deutlichen Hinweis, dass wir den vorgeschlagenen 4er Tisch nun nehmen können oder gehen müssten, hat man uns verabschiedet. Ich bin noch immer sprachlos, da ich das Pata Negra seit geraumer Zeit kenne."
