"Das erste Mal mit Freunden dort gewesen, die schon mehrfach da waren, daher war die Erwartung auf gutes Essen hoch. Das Ambiente ist grundsätzlich schön, was an dem Gebäude liegt im Inneren ist Zahn der Zeit sichtbar. Es ist aber sauber und gemütlich. Das Essen war insgesamt von uns Vieren positiv zu bewerten. Bei meiner Vorspeise (Salat mit Pfifferlingen und Calamari) waren die Calamari aber leider nicht gut waren wir Gummi. Dies habe ich auch mitgeteilt, weil jede Küche sollte ein ehrliches Feedback erhalten lt. Kellner wollte er dies auch so weitergeben (ein Feedback dazu gab es nicht). Insgesamt hatten wir einen schönen Abend und wir werden dem Il Castello sicherlich eine weitere Chance einräumen. Went there for the first time with friends who have been there several times so expectation for good food was high. The ambience is basically nice, which is due to the building the ravages of time are visible inside. But it is clean and comfortable. The four of us gave the food a positive rating overall. With my starter (salad with chanterelles and calamari) the calamari were unfortunately not good we were rubber. I also reported this because every kitchen should receive honest feedback according to the waiter he wanted to pass this on (there was no feedback on this). Overall we had a lovely evening and we will certainly give Il Castello another chance."
