"Really delicious, well-topped Italian pizza. Not far from Waldsee. Pick up in 3 minutes by car and return to the forest lake. Highly Recommended. 2 years ago we ordered pizza to be delivered to the parking lot on a trip to Waldsee. Unfortunately, after waiting 50 minutes, we still didn't get anything. After several phone calls, the boss came personally with the pizza. We suspect that he interpreted our order as a fake call. So simply: it's better to get it yourself and enjoy it faster"

"This restaurant is situated in a converted church hospital and the venue is beautiful. The inside seating is in the main hall of the church and the outside seating feels like it 's in a garden. The only drawback to the indoor is that the hall is so resonant that it can be hard to hear others at your table. I attended a reception here with a 3-course set menu. They started us out with cranberry bread and the opportunity to buy a drink. I had their weissbier on tap, Allgäuer Büble Edelweissbier. It was a little sweet but not really fruity (which is what I wanted) and had a nice foamy finish. For the appetizer: avocado with goat cheese in an olive oil-lemon vinaigrette. This was also topped with diced olives and some sort of green shoots that I didn 't recognize. I liked the pairing of the briny olives and goat cheese with the creamy avocado and fresh, herby greens. Main course (vegetarian option): napkin dumplings. I 'd never tried this dish and it was unreal, I loved the texture of the bread dumplings! They were perfect for soaking up the addictive buttery sauce without getting soggy. I didn 't feel like the dish got too heavy since they used the perfect amount of sauce (although it was so good I could have eaten more) and kept things bright with the garnish of scallions and greens. They provided more plain bread when we were finished to soak up the rest of the sauce. Dessert was the Brownie Dessert of chocolate cake/brownie with walnut crumble and raspberry sorbet. The brownie was one of those that just melts in your mouth as you eat it. The sorbet had a really bright and natural flavour. Every course was delicious and the portion size was right in the window where I felt very satisfied but not overstuffed. The service was also seamless. The waiters were some of the friendliest I had while I was in Germany, the wait time between courses was appropriate, there wasn 't a significant delay between the first and last tables to get their food brought to them, and they were diligent about replacing the water at the table when we ran out (unlimited still and sparkling were included in the dinner). If the regular experience is anything like what they did for us, I would definitely recommend them for a nice dinner and unique experience in Mainz!"

"Das Pizzablitz ist nicht nach meinem Geschmack. Die Pizzen sind groß und preiswert, auch bei der Bestellung. Aber sie entsprechen nicht meinem Geschmack. Der Besitzer ist Inder und daher schmecken sie auch meiner Meinung nach. Besonders negativ ist mir der Käse aufgefallen, der einerseits zu viel ist und andererseits einen eigenartigen Geschmack hat. Mein Fazit: In Östringen gibt es definitiv bessere Pizzerien."

"Bei Ankunft wurde uns direkt gesagt es gäbe keine alkoholischen Getränke. Beim Versuch bei der Bestellung einen Cocktail zu bestellen wurde wieder das gleiche gesagt. Als ich den Kellner fragte wieso, ging er ohne ein Wort zu sagen weg und kam nicht wieder; man konnte auch nicht mal weiter bestellen. Wir sind dann einfach wieder gegangen. Zudem hatten wir den Eindruck, dass man uns wegen unserer vielen Tattoos und sommerlichen Bekleidung diskriminierend behandelt hat und deswegen keine alkoholischen Getränke bestellen lassen wollte. Beim, 2 Stunden später, Vorbeigehen, nachdem wir bei einem anderen Italiener genüsslich Essen waren mit Cocktails, sahen wir bei den Gästen Bier und Wein auf den Tischen serviert stehen. Daher nicht zu empfehlen, es sei denn man möchte der Gefahr unterlaufen diskriminiert zu werden."

"Die Bedienung war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen ist gut und wurde in angemessener Zeit für alle 15 Personen gemeinsam serviert. Leider klappte es mit den Getränken nur teilweise. Einiges kam andere mussten mehrfach bestellen oder bekamen erst nach längerer Zeit ihre Getränke. Da ist noch Luft im Sydtem."

"Das Essen ist großartig! Leider lässt der Service zu wünschen übrig. Obwohl wir einen Tisch reserviert hatten, wurden wir an einem schmutzigen Tisch platziert. Als das Servicepersonal (nach einer langen Wartezeit) kam, um unsere Bestellung aufzunehmen, hat er nicht den Tisch gereinigt und die Platzdeckchen platziert!
