"I have to start with funny complain. Service in this restaurant is ... too fast. But this is not a joke. When you go with friends for a dinner to high end restaurant, I expect to have enough time also for conversation. In Das Spittelberg aperitifs, starters and main courses were served within 75 minutes. But everything else is top notch ! Design of the restaurant, presence of the chef, attentive waiters and ... of course food ! This is not a place to enjoy Wiener Schnitzel, as owner and chef have higher ambitions. The signature dish crispy duck is extremely tasty ! But also fish part of the menu (char) is worth to consider. What we liked very much is also recommendation of our waiter of the wine. When we described our preferred wine taste profile he proposed not the most expensive Gruener Veltiner, but actually the lower price level option. And a special tip please leave a space for deserts in my opinion they have the best Kaiserschmarrn in whole Vienna !"
