"The restaurant was busy when we entered- as a family with 2 children aged 10 and 7. The waitress was a bit flustered and didn’t want to clean up the table we preferred and said if you want to sit there’s a table free next to the door and that’s all we have. We were reluctant because it’s freezing cold and every time the doors open there would be a draft coming in but we took it anyways as it was a long day for us and we were hungry. That’s the service! The food itself was absolutely amazing- fresh products and delicious meats all done in the roaring fire that was blazing in the kitchen- you could smell the delicious grill and sizzle of the meat and my daughter had two helpings of the snails which were also wonderful. Overall I would recommend and go back but be patient with the busy and overworked staff! The decor is quaint and really nice too."
