"We were rather disappointed because the restaurant we intended to go was closed and found this lovely restaurant by pure chance. The place is so authentic; the wood panels and the furniture are old but not shabby and you feel the charme of old times. The owner is friendly and welcoming and even if his English is not excellent he managed to explain in details all the different dishes . This was the only restaurant in Wien where we where not offered Wiener schnitzel...we had a delicious goulash and excellent fried liver and to finish a wonderful kaiserschmarm, one of the most typical Austrian desserts. The bill was absolutely reasonable. If you are looking for good food and an unforgettable Wiener atmosphere don't miss it; it is just 5 minutes walk from Zieglergasse underground station."
