"there is a series of restaurants with seating outdoors on a side of the ortes pestalozzi, one of the most beautiful places of Switzerland. the 'restaurant de la place' is about the middle of them all. on a sunny day in the summer you have to feel happy to grab a chair and a table, as many people want to enjoy the atmosphere here of the traffic-free large space, surrounded by a castle, a church and generally with a homogeneous architecture. although very busy, service from a young waiter was fast and friendly. they had a 'menus du jour' card on the display of which I brought the 'salade paysanne', which is a great part of 'salade melée, sauce italienne, lardons, croutons, oeuf dur et fromage'. with him I had an arkina sparkling water that was originally produced in yverdon, but now in the grisons, although still its name.
