"I would say frustrated because everytime I came to this place, I had a wonderful food and wine experience but sadly, the staff (and yes I know it's the owner as well) was not friendly at all...Everytime I wanted to drink a nice glass of wine in the eaux-vives I would come here (more than 10 times in the last year!).But I have to admit that the last time was the LAST time I would come here...There are plenty of nice wine bar in Geneva, with charming staff and cosy atmosphere. The Décanteur is definitely not one of them...It's a shame when the staff is turning off the lights and putting all the chairs on the tables and handing you the bill when it's only 22:30 on a Saturday...!I can understand that it's really full on to work on a bar all week long, going back home after midnight and that sometimes you just want to rest and go back early! It happens to me when I'm at work! But I don't do it, because I can't!It's really ambarrassing to feel like you're not welcome in a bar that looks so nice and that serves such beautiful wines and dishes...Everytime I talk about this bar with my friends, (and some of them are there almost every week) I can hear the same feed back!So sorry guys but I won't recommend your bar if someone's searching for a nice experience :("
