"The ‘plat de jour’ was disappointing and there wasn’t sufficient choice to choose something else on the Main Menu. The restaurant was only a quarter full. In addition the sound of drilling from the renovation works was quite disturbing. I don’t think I will be eating there again."

"I've been to Brasserie de Montelly 5 or 6 times (I live in the neighborhood). I have to say that the food is pretty good. What really bothered me is the service and the decor. Last time I went, the waiter laughed at me because I ordered a Latte Machiatto. Also they were upset because I ordered a coffee 1 x and no food, not to mention they had a lot of free tables. If they want to be so arrogant they might as well spend a franc or 2 or changing their tables and chairs. They are sticky and old. Also the food is pretty pricey. I don't think they understand the concept of value for money. Wouldn't hurt for the waiters to learn a thing or 2 about manners."
