Abyssinia Cafe And - Speisekarte

The restaurant was closed even it said it’s opened on google map. Got an appointment but no one was in the restaurant and it was locked.

the food was very disappointing. Very little chicken, the meat was burnt and the doro wat sauce tasted burnt. We usually really like Abyssinia :

Tasted great. Sadly there only one small chicken drumstick in the chicken stew. Not acceptable for £13. Also they are still using polystyrene packaging which was banned a month ago.

We enjoyed a wonderful meal at this friendly and cosy restaurant. The food was delicious and the coffee so good! Thank you for answering all our questions about the cuisine. It was a great evening and I really hope to come back soon!

Finally made it to this place, which I’ve heard good things about for a long time. The food was delicious and authentic (I’ve been fortunate to visit Ethiopia . The music played also took me right back to my time there. We were also welcome to bring our own non-alcoholic beers in. Overall very happy : Speisekarte ansehen

I visit this restaurant regularly and always make sure to take any guests that I have visiting. It is easily the best restaurant that I have eaten at in Leeds. The vegan platter is delicious and the coffee ceremony is a lovely end to the meal. Abdul the owner is extremely accommodating. I couldn't recommend it highly enough!!!

Teresa was serving our table she beautifully explained everything to us. She was fast efficient and considerate for the allergies that we had on the table making sure that they knew exactly what was safe for them to eat and what wasn’t based on other peoples orders Teresa is the definition of the perfect server 10/10 would dine again

A lovely cosy place in the middle of an unexpected area. Ihave never tried this type of food, but from what I'm told it is very Authentic. The service was prompt and kind, the food fresh and very cost effective. Genuinely a welcome change to the normal choices for a Friday night, and if you're in the area, make sure you stop by.
