We found the server very rude and she wouldn’t allow us to just have drinks. They proceeded to snatch the menus from us once we had ordered.

Had brunch on couple of occasions. Great food, good service. The cakes are excellent and very generously sized Plan to try the afternoon teas in the future. Need to work up an appetite!

Upon entering we were greeted by a very welcoming and friendly member of staff who showed us to our table and gave us our menus. A few minutes later our drinks and cake orders were taken. Met a friend before going to the theater. Wish I went elsewhere. Food was terrible. We had gnocchi which was supposed to be pumpkin gnocchi. It was more like vegetable stock/sauce over plain shop bought gnocchi. Overpriced. There were flies all around the corner where we sat. Two Starters and four main Course for four came to £164,.42 with three soft drinks and one beer. Fried Calamari starter for over £10.00. We joked with the waiter as to where the Calamari was and he said under there 6 Calamari rings hidden under some sweet potato chips. The main meals (grilled Chicken breast and Braised Lamb Shank) were about £25 each. The vegan broccoli ad spinach(£19.95) had one broccoli floret and a few laves of Spinach the vegan sauce was tasty. Overall very overpriced for just about adequate quality food. There are better quality restaurants with lower prices in the area. Would never go here again.

Popped in for a coffee and sat outside amongst the fake flowers/plants adorning the café. Coffee was ok, but not the best considering the price. The ladies toilet was absolutely filthy and disgusting, as I walked to the toilet there was a guy one his mobile peeing into the ladies toilet with the door wide open, the men's toilet was out of order. I went to use the disabled loo, again another guy on the phone whilst peeing into the toilet with the door half open. The toilets and toilet floors were all saturated mess with urine and used toilet paper on the floor, no fresh toilet paper at all. I always include a trip to CC when we have visitors to our London home, it’s a sweet treat and always, previously, an exceptional experience. This past weekend I had a visitor from Ireland and brought her to the Haymarket CC after dinner in China Town. The service was excellent, the food outstanding but the visit to the restrooms left me wishing I hadn’t eaten there at all!
