Afternoon Tea at Meldrum House

Too much sweet selection and not enough savoury sausage roll and sandwiches

Had a lovely afternoon tea, staff were all very pleasant, tables were are well spaced out and the food was amazing.

Really enjoyed this afternoon tea, there was plenty food and everything was lovely. Service was a tad slow at times but defo recommend it Speisekarte ansehen

beautiful setting. too much sweet for my taste, but some people would like that. they win me alternatives, because I couldn't eat a pig and even though I couldn't give it. great service and very courteous. will have come back to any

We had the festive afternoon tea was very good the only thing I would have liked less of was the chocolate cakes maybe piece of shortbread or something plain as was mostly all chocolate, nice touch was the fire outside the window, good feature

the balance of hearty and sweet was better than the last time I was there. too sweet before, so thank you. Two scenes were ever hard on the one. too much chocolate, (3 or 4 dinge had chocolate in them. I would have preferred a fruit mousse and alternative to the other chocolate cakes. but it was delicious.

Afternoon tea was served in their large function room alongside their lunch service. The staff were very pleasant. We are both vegetarian and had pre-advised the hotel so there was no issue on arrival. The food was good but very heavy on chocolate (which was also quite rich). which meant that I left quite a few pieces. The scones were lovely although one of my scones was not quite cooked right through, but the flavours were excellent. Only 1 choice of tea or coffee On the whole we had a nice time

adult festive afternoon tee was ok, a lot of sweet choice compared to the hearty. child festive afternoon tee is not very child-friendly, especially for the food of the edifice. the sweet selection was was wasted, as they only ate the cookies and the meringue snowmen. sandwiches were simple and simple. the service was very bad, very slow, waited an hour and a half for our food. children were in hunger. it took a long time to get our drinks too. they also had no kinder drinks, which was a shame. the personal was pleasant enough, simply not very fast. the ballroom was breathtaking with all Christmas decorations.
