Afternoon Tea at The Willow Branch

Never been for afternoon tea before so didn't know what to expect. We received a wide variety of home made food that was delicious. Service was excellent.

Very nice cafe. Very inviting. Good choices very clean. Clean restrooms. Nice staff and last, but most importantly, the best brownie (with Rolos) I've ever tasted!

We've just had afternoon tea here and it was spot on. Definitely wont be hungry when you leave. We've so taken away some chocolate orange tiffin for later. Added bonus they allowed our two doggies in thanks Paul, great little place you've got ticked away!! Speisekarte ansehen

Gorgeous little tea room, tucked away above a cobbled street. Our reserved table was ready immediately, and the food was substantial, delicious and great value. Staff were attentive, but not intrusive, and created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Had afternoon tea All homemade, flavourful, decent amount, lemon posset a must try. Staff very helpful an attentive, hand written anniversary card on arrival a nice touch. Great location in centre of whitby would recommend booking ahead to guarantee a seat as it is above a shop upstairs and space is limited

Very friendly staff in this blink and you 'll miss it cafe, tucked away on a corner, less than a minute away from the bridge, with just a front door, leading up the stairs. Nice selection of cakes, traybakes and lots of drinks. They possibly do lunches but we weren 't looking so couldn 't say for sure. The prices are amazing value too. Speisekarte ansehen

Visiting Whitby for the day and decided to look the willow branch up....due to good reviews...nearly missed it because its a hidden gem up stairs ..so glad we found it Best cream tea ever not only for value but quality and lovely service with a smile Quirky pots tea home made scones and home made bramble apple jam to top it off .. We shared a sanwich to go with it ..so glad we did it was huge .. All in all comes highly recommended a lovely cosy hidden gem

Amazing afternoon tea for two. Lots of tea and coffee choices. I had Turkish delight tea. Hubby had cappuccino. Lovely warm cheese scones. Tuna n cucumber sandwiches. Egg sandwiches and chicken wraps. All delicious. The sweet treats were lemon posset and shortbread. Victoria sponge, scones with jam and cream. I had pear and almond cake and hubby had banoffee cake. All beautiful and presented on a 3 tier stand. Staff lovely. Great service. Would def recommend

We came for afternoon tea, due to good review and pictures. The staff were very lovely and the food was well presented but the savoury options weren’t great and one of our group could barely eat the sandwiches or the cheese scone. The sweet options were better. Glasses for the prosecco needed cleaning and everything else crockery, tea, environment just felt a little like a greasy cafe, which wasn’t the expectation from how it’s presented on open table. Am sure it’s great for a toasted sandwich, etc. but not a place you want to drink prosecco and have afternoon tea. Speisekarte ansehen
