"I made a reservation for afternoon tea through OpenTable and when I arrived at the hotel, I was informed that they had stopped serving afternoon tea there months ago. This was not the first time this mistake had happened. The staff were nice and friendly, but it was disappointing that OpenTable had inaccurate information. We were staying at the Apex Hotel in Glasgow and were enticed by the menu, which was available to see. We had excellent service from the staff who were friendly and attentive. We did have a slight issue with one of our dishes being the wrong one, but again, our caring staff were able to manage the situation and give us a discount.

I had a delightful afternoon tea at this restaurant. The presentation was very nice and the staff were friendly and attentive. The manager on duty was fantastic, making sure all customers felt comfortable and at ease. I will definitely be back and would recommend this place. I was so impressed that I even considered booking an overnight stay at the hotel for the first time.
