Agrippa Al Pantheon

I came to visit friends outside Rome and wanted to see the old town, after a walk we chose this place located in one of the most beautiful squares of the capital.

Cocktails views are great, the staff are very friendly and the service was fast. The penne arrabiata was delicious and it was actually a little spicy which was good!

beautiful location in front of the pantheon, when we are in that area we always go there on the safe and friendly staff, we took 3 first all excellent. the right price for the location.

Nach einem der ABSOLUTEN Highlights von Roma, dem Pantheon, war uns nach einer kleschkalten Halben. Doch nicht in unseren kühnsten Träumen, konnten wir uns vorstellen, dass es hier auch das berühmt-berüchtigte 1 Liter um sage und schreibe 14€ gibt! Überzeugen Sie sich selbst beim Fotoanhang

Loved the food especially the Italian sausage. The fettuccine Alfredo was excellent as well! An the gelato ice cream was the topper. The view of the Parthenon was the the deal maker. We enjoyed it at night when there was very little traffic at the square and the crowds weren't that bad as we got there early enough. I had the gnocchi. Enjoy!

So knowing the tourism industry we expected most restaurants to be subpar. Especially near the parthenon. We wanted to try traditional italian pizza and god for bid use a clean free bathroom, haha!! We were absolutely blown away by the quality and taste of the pizza we were served!! The manager was amazing and comprised nothing in service to serve us quickly as we were in a tour group! This place is a true gem!!

For starter I had Carpaccio and a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine was lovely, great taste and perfect temperature and I wouldn’t fault it. The Carpaccio was certainly acceptable, but far from the best I’ve had. For main I had a beer and a pizza. No complaints about the draught beer. The pizza was at best average, toppings were all good, but the dough left a lot to be desired. It never claimed to be a wood fired pizza and it’s safe to say it was not. The view however was very nice and the staff were all busy, but friendly.

We stopped at Agrippa al Pantheon for dinner on our first night in Rome. They set a table up for us outside facing the Pantheon. It was a spectacular view and the people watching was fun as well. As for the food, it was delicious. We ordered starters, cocktails and mains. The prices were all very reasonable. The best part of our evening was our waiter Max. He joked around with our children, made excellent food recommendations and took several pictures of our family for us. He went out of his way to make our dinner as perfect as he possibly could. I would highly recommend this restaurant the next time your in Rome.
