Excellent food with good attentive service. Attractively priced food served hot with all meals ordered arriving at the same time.

Totally tasteless, really disapointing. Will not be back, may as well have gone to Tesco for a ready meal, it would have been tastier.

Waited 2 hours for food was cold the rice was **** very very disappointed with it iv just rang and no one seems to care will never use again its a shame fort they was better than that

Excellent food and hospitality: As a solo business traveler I had prawn puri, with the Ceylon king prawn being a different dish for myself, which is very spicy but with the delicate taste of coconut. Chapatis and pilau rice of been freshly prepared.

I only wrote a review a couple of months ago but felt the Akash deserved another 5* recognition. The food is just superb. It’s fresh tasting, full of flavour and I can’t get enough of the naan bread. We had a lovely young waiter on Thursday who was super polite and welcoming. All in all, it’s just a great place to eat and I can highly recommend! Speisekarte ansehen

This was the worse Indian we have ever had and will definitely not be returning , was shouted at by the manager, the food was tasteless and off colour and will definitely not be returning or recommending to anybody !! Avoid this place at all cost !!! So many more places to choose from on the same street , amazed they are still open and allowed to trade disgusting food had so much better up the road

We had a much better meal than anticipated. We used to regularly visit this restaurant when we first moved here, three decades ago! Then with kids in tow we strayed away to country pubs and such. So having booked a table at the new Italian by the Tithe Barn and finding it shut when we arrived we had to find an alternative. We voted and Akash won. The food was very good, high quality, generous and ace value: popadoms starter, five mains, rice, veg sides, nans, two pints, large red wine, large sparkling water all in £108.00 tip and the food was great. The service was very slow bearing in mind there were only four customers in the restaurant. My starter arrived when my wife’s starter was finished!!! We had mixed shish kebab, poppadom’s with chutneys (paid for). Lemon rice and vegetable jalfezi. Keema rice and mixed meat jalfezi (only lamb in it). Also, chickpea curry. All was going well the food was really yummy. And thought we will deffo bring family and friends here. As we could not eat everything, we asked for doggy bags. It went downhill after this.
