Quiet and secluded location in a small half mountain village. Living room pleasant excellent cleaning, very polite the staff of room. I recommend it.

Lovely location and cared for in detail, kind staff we ate typical dishes of Carnia delicious well presented, good also the wine of the house. We've been to Carnia for many years and I can say it's the best restaurant in Carnia.

We stayed in this property a weekend on the occasion of a trip outside the door. What to say, really delicious place and excellent hospitality. Not to mention the delights we ate at dinner! We will definitely come back! Thank you very much!

I had a nice dinner. Waiting for the opening of the restaurant a glass of wine near the hearth allowed a pleasant way to spend time. The menu with many typical dishes is interesting and the choice made did not disappoint me. Price suitable for the area, but more convenient. A star less for wine not up to my expectations. It's worth coming back.

I stayed for one night at Fogolar during a motorbike tour to discover the beauties of Friuli. The warm and welcoming atmosphere surrounds you as soon as you cross the entrance of this beautiful inn, which combines the respect of tradition with a good level of comfort. The rooms are clean, spacious, well renovated. Merit note for comfortable mattresses. Also excellent is the culinary proposal of the annexe osteria. Recommended.

During the last motorbike trip I stayed at this pleasant structure. Located in a hamlet not far from Tolmezzo we had dinner and slept x 2 days at the fogolar. Room and bathroom very clean and comfortable, on the lower floor the tavern with annex to the restaurant. Very good food and quality, very courteous staff and prepared. I am very happy to have chosen you was like to go back in time when even from my side there were welcome and family osteries like yours. Congratulations!

Dinner with frickin and Toc in Braide. Great service, the two ladies served us during the evening were very kind, helpful and fast. we opted for appetizers with meats and cheeses, then go to the frico, really good and for those who accompanied us the Toc in Braide (A dish with polenta and fondue of malga cheeses with porcini mushrooms and black truffle). to follow us we continued with a taste of local cheeses accompanied by jams of their production (very good vermanete!) and who accompanied us chose a chocolate wing cake. All accompanied by water and beer. Prices in standard. Mention for the service and kindness of the two ladies and for the quality of raw materials. Good.

I was eating at fogolâr lunch because I was working nearby and at 11.30 there was already in the air of Chiaulis grill scent. We entered a cozy but dark bar with a nice fogolâr at the bottom of the room. Passed the bar room you can access a corridor where there are the bathrooms and the open kitchen, which left me pleasantly surprised, and then arrive at the bright large room with a 15th of tables and particular photos/quadri on the walls. We ordered the menu of the day to 13€: first, second, contour, wine water and coffee. I took a great risotto with mushrooms, a grill of meat with polenta toasted properly and a mixed salad. For 13€ nothing bad also because the portions were adequate to a l...
