Everything is always ok, especially the pizza and the vast choice of wines and after meals....I was sorry after covid that the place has downsized also due to the good and polite waiters. But I wish the owners that everything can go back to the old days... when Il Gattopardo was a top place for everyone, families, kids, important people, tourists etc. Anyway I hope that even with the take way.... and the little place to consume, your business can give you more than you were and you will remain in the hearts of your customers for years"

I have eaten several times in this now historic place in Messina, the quality of the pizza is good, perhaps the tomato sauce was not too thick in my pizza. All in all passed. I was disappointed to notice that due to Covid, as reported by the managers, the place had been downsized with a small room where it is possible to consume. There is no table service. In short, it has transformed from a nice pizza restaurant into a take away. I was disappointed because it was a top venue in the historic center of Messina.

Unfortunately I didn't have a good experience. The food is done well, the chefs are good, but....the staff behind the counter needs to be eliminated! The gentlemen don't treat customers the same...for three dishes to take away, they made me wait 40 minutes , while an acquaintance of theirs (VALENTINA) came in after me, and was served in 15 minutes, with a GIFT loaf of bread and a portion of parmigiana (512 grams) free of charge!!! For me they could have even given him the place, but creating this situation in front of customers is unprofessional. So, in summary, the food is good but the staff and the place are dated AND UNPROFESSIONAL.
