As written in many other reviews, the menu does not exist, as soon as we sit down they immediately bring us an appetizer... very antipasto and not much of a meal... 4 slices of ham and 4 of loin, bruschetta with a porcini mushroom sauce thrown in on the plate, beans with a very questionable flavor and 4 slices of courgette....I remain perplexed but I go on to say that we didn 't want the first courses but only the second courses, but the owner insists on the tonnarelli with porcini mushrooms and brings us two samples. ....you couldn 't taste the mushroom but just a lot of wine and spices, the tonnarelli with porcini mushrooms are something else! The grill arrived which was practically all lamb, accompanied by a wild boar hunter that was too stringy and therefore inedible, salad and a roast potato, definitely NOT! Again without me asking for anything, some desserts arrive: small pieces, tart and donut....the latter crowded together, tart too old, only the small pieces were good. Bill of €70 without receipt, without details and above all without having decided anything! It would have been enough if they had told us that they use a FIXED MENU (because that 's what we 're talking about), what it includes, how much you pay and a tax detail... stop! Everything would have been perfect, but paying for not knowing and not deciding anything is NOT! Conclusion: Sacrofano has many restaurants and even quality ones, the Grottino is definitely not one of them, move on!"

I spent Christmas in this quaint restaurant with a warm family atmosphere. The fixed menu, large and tasty, offered exceptional dishes such as polenta and wild boar, the mixed grill was also very good as was the bruschetta with a mushroom pâté. The homemade desserts concluded the meal in a delicious way. All this, at the price of €50 on Christmas Day, made the experience a great one. Service: Dine in

There were 8 of us on Christmas Day, fabulous fixed menu! We ate very well, from appetizers to desserts, a well-kept, characteristic and very well-managed environment! Definitely coming back! The menu included a platter of cured meats, mixed roast, coratella, lamb, artichoke lasagna, tagliatelle with mushrooms, polenta with ribs and sausage, pork ribs, focaccia, wine and water, typical desserts... and maybe I forgot something else!
