The dishes were all good, especially the baked cheese in the salad was great. Fish and chips also good, nothing to complain about. However, one person then asked for a glass of tap water with the wine, which was then answered with we 're not allowed to do that . Okay, if you hadn 't ordered any drinks at all it might have been different, but there were 6 paid drinks on the table including wine and the question was about water with the wine. That 's absurd. Sensing that the requirement wasn 't met with any understanding, a glass of water came over, but with an almost three-digit bill it 's simply not possible to initially deny this. It 's probably a requirement, but it has to be handled differently. So it was just silly."

Very cozy and well-kept restaurant. The food was uniquely delicious. Both the fish and meat dishes were perfect. Staff super friendly. I can recommend the restaurant 100%.

Wir waren am 29. Dezember und am 31. Dezember zum Essen dort. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Essen war wirklich lecker. Eine gemütliche Atmosphäre und sehr nettes Personal. Wir würden gerne wiederkommen.

Dieses Restaurant hat mich vollkommen überzeugt. Der Service ist wirklich sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Das Essen ist großartig. Wir waren zu sechst und jeder hatte ein anderes Gericht. Mit keinem von ihnen gab es etwas zu bemängeln. Wenn Sie in Hooksiel sind, sollten Sie dort einen Tisch reservieren und dieses Essen genießen.

Went there on Boxing Day for a big birthday. The starter with tomato soup and icing was all okay. The main course: 1 dried-out beef roulade, 1 potato dumpling, a bit of red cabbage and the whole thing for €22.90. The portion is something for a 10 year old boy. I reordered 2 pieces of potato dumplings and the whole thing for an additional €8.00. I had been looking forward to the food all day, but it was a total failure, the price is everything overdrawn. I won't eat there a second time!
