American Way - Speisekarte

the American way is specialized in burger. I'm a customer since the restaurant opened almost thirty years ago. it has changed its own two or three times. current service, food and hygiene under standard. surprise the inspectors have not visited or given warning.

burger and chips were so bad it was almost unbelievable, the milkshake was just cheap ice placed in a mixer with ice cubes. this place was not as I remember. Please. do not waste their time or money there. allegedly a birthday dinner for 13 years. seats torn and table fat. shock

Used this place since it opened and sad to say seen it slowly go down hill, tonight’s burger will be the absolute last time we will ever order from here, burger meat rock hard to the point of inedible, didn’t have the sauce we asked...for so used completely different sauce left with nasty taste in mouth for reasons more than just the burger..... My husband and I have been regular customers of the A.Way since it opened in the 70's have always loved it. However in the last few years since it changed ownership the quality of the food has deteriorated, today we ordered a burger and...chips and it was horrible. The chips were overcooked and all 'bits' and the burger was not like a homemade one that they used to be like. Definitely won't return again.

My family and I went to American Way this month and found that the staff and chef were friendly and very welcoming. My two young children loved the milkshakes too. We didn’t book and just turned up and there was plenty of space. We had...the burgers and the children had fish gingers, food was hot, delicious and arrived quickly, all was cooked fresh. Loved the extra relish, onions, sauce you get on the side. Would definitely return

only a warning to people who are vegetarian, this restaurant is not right for them as they cook their vegetarian eating with the meat on the same grill etc. we ordered a vegetarian burger with halloumi, and as they can see, the cooking cook that we. watched as he cooked our burger in the same frit as the chicken nuggets, then they put our halloumi on the same grill with rinderburger! unnecessary to say we haven't eaten anything of it. such a scandal, my man enjoyed his rindburger chips though! we have been regular customers for many years and have loved eating. but recently it was not great. this time I went for a chickenburger, it was as if they found the cheapest southern fried burger and served that. it was more. like a frozen chicken burger, who was tasty and gum-like. the chips were a strange texture. my man had a burger and it was as if it had been shown the grill, it was still mooing. burger was cooked. I know they like to get delivered quickly, but still that was terrible. I'm really disappointed when it was so good in the past.

Just had our first visit here as was passing and had been recommended the place. The burgers were delicious and portion sizes very good! The young male waiter served us and he was really helpful and friendly. I had the sunset burger with blue cheese...which was yummy. We have given up on long leisurely lunches as we have a toddler so this place was perfect as the service was quick and it’s casual. Our little girl loved dancing to the rock n roll diner style music. Good value too (it was about 8 for my large burger and chips) and we were able to park for free right outside. Our little one loved the milkshake, we found the place very child friendly and we will definitely go back again!

1st time out with hubby we phoned to book a table, . all booked for 7.00 pm. On arriving was greeted fine . My husband ordered a San Miquel when it arrived it was so cloudy my husband sent it back no problem changed to...bottle Stella . I ordered a Mushroom cheese burger my husband had a Jackpot so it was called.. The food was OK eatable but wouldn't say they are totally the best burgers . I finished left some on my plate, the young girl who was polite went to take my plate and onion rings that was in the bowl even though my husband was still eating.......
