Finally the poke bowls even in parma! an unconventional place, with attention to bio, vegan and vegetarian products. I tried the poke with smoked salmon and rice. an explosion of flavors!! An experience to recommend!

In the summer the seats and tables outside give a view towards the battistero (made out o a beautiful pink marble). Breakfast is very good, based on the usual brioche but in a perfection. Should you be there in autumn or winter take the PERFECT dolce di Parma , similar to a pannetone but with dried apricots immersed in liquor. It is superb!! For lunch the Poke bowls are phantastic. The fine, delicate flavours are delicious! I prefer the Parma Poke which is a perfect mixture of local flavours. I would have given five points, the only dissapointment was the service, the young man serving us outside kept forgetting parts of our order and once gone was difficult to call back.

It was a hot day and we just wanted a salad and glass of wine when we bumped into Anima di Parma. It quickly became obvious that there was something special about the place. As we were enjoying our very good salads, we noticed that Anima has been recognized as a premier establishment for many years. It boasts a 4 generation ownership, and it shows. We almost never order dessert at lunchtime; however, our waiter gently told us that they serve a very popular torta and that we should try it. It was amazing! After we ate lunch, we wandered into the shop where we found their specialty panettone and salted caramels and other chocolates. We returned later in the day and purchase these and an almond...
