I wanted to try something else and it was definitiw not disappointed. the Portuguese manager (not to catch his name) was very helpful and engaged while offering a good service. the Zebra-Jerky was beautiful, but the Kangaroo-skewers were the star. would recommend...everyone ready to try something unique.

Amazing service, attention to detail and great (unique tasty) food. It was my second time here and I’ll definitely go back soon. We loved everything we ordered and really had a memorable time. There is no place like this anywhere else, I went back...to London for work and this is the place I booked to go back to. Thank you see you soon!

Enjoyed a wonderful meal celebrating a family birthday. The food was not only unusual it was also very tasty and well cooked with a lovely infusion of interesting flavours. I would especially recommend the Zebra and the Elk. Save room for dessert though as they...are outstanding. this place is fantastic, served unusual dishes that are very tasty and cooked for perfection. from the minute they put the foot through the door, they are mesmerized. the place is interesting and quirky in every aspekt. the personal is very friendly and helpful if. they want to impress someone with another dining room experience, then they go directly to archipelago. they will not be disappointed.

Amazing! If you’re looking for something different then definitely somewhere to try! We chose starters to share so that we could experience some of the quirkier items on the menu. Everything we ate was well prepared and tasted great! The place was very clean...and the host/waiter was extremely friendly. Slightly on the pricier side but is expected for the quality of the good and the exoticness of the menu. Definitely would go back, and would recommend it too!

we were taken here by a family member who insisted that we had to taste this restaurant. we were slightly sceptical, with such a “out there” menu, but it exceeded our expectations! do not let the exoticity of the menu deter them the food. is absolutely amazing, service is spot on and the decor is really interesting and quirky. our favourite dishes were kangaro, krokodil, zebra kamel! everything brilliantly cooked and super delicious. a visit worth to try something new and they won't forget it! we will definitely be back. I've been to many London restaurants over the years, many are nice but forgettable. Archipelago was one I will remember for a long time, not only for its creative decor and imaginative menu but also the staff who had plenty of time to chat and...explain through the unusual food menu. I ended up having various insects in each of the courses, which was suprisingly tasty. The food and wine overall was first class, as was the whole experience. At the end of the night I learnt that our waiter was actually the owner of the restaurant, having worked his way up from a kitchen porter. Overall very inspirational and can't wait to return soon!

Took my year old son here for a treat. We were visiting London after he missed out on a family ski trip as he wasn’t double vaccined!! This was the ultimate treat!! We decided to order starters as main course as we fancied...so much and just had to try as much as we could. From the moment we arrived the gentleman made us feel so welcome, sitting my son in the best seat in the restaurant. The attention to detail is exquisite. So theatrical and special. You could sit and look at the novelties around you for ages!! My sons favourite was the Zebra Jerky and crocodile wrap!! Wow wow wow.. The camel was utterly delicious. I went to Archipelago many years ago before it moved to its current location and remember not just the quality of the (very unusual) food but also how much fun the whole experience was. I booked again for a friend's birthday and it was exactly...as fantastic as I remembered. As a bit of fun you're given a password which you give before ordering, and the hand towel is a lovely piece of theatre in itself. The menus are beautifully presented and the decor a true stimulation of curiosity. There are such unusual dishes including crickets, ostrich, kangaroo, all delicious, all looking intriguing and appetising, and because it was a birthday they even prepped a treat with dessert.
