The restaurant is a beautiful place with excellent food and exceptional service. I highly recommend visiting Glengarry Castle for a stay.

Stopped for a cup of tea and biscuit and received a very warm welcome. Beautiful views of the garden from our library armchairs. Well worth a stop even if we couldn’t afford a night in the hotel!

The restaurant is situated in a lovely location and the staff is very accommodating and friendly. The food was delicious and well-presented. We would definitely come back if we were in the area again.

See my separate review of the hotel. Dinner is extremely reasonably price for the quality of the food and its preparation. The scallops, cod and venison were among the best we've eaten in Scotland, or elsewhere. The breakfast menu was extensive, including full range of Scottish breakfast.

Despite this being a popular location they still seemed to be accepting a few people who turned up on the evening which was a testament to how efficiently they seemed to be coping with the covid restrictions. Food was fine, mine was a fish and chips. Nothing particularly special about it but generous and tasty enough.

The food at the hotel was excellent on both nights we dined there. The staff were attentive and helpful, providing prompt service. They were also willing to explain the menu, and we thoroughly enjoyed the delicious and well-cooked dishes. We celebrated a birthday during our visit, and the staff happily brought out the cake we had purchased.

Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Der Umschwung rund um das Anwesen ist bezaubernd und das Ambiente im Hotel/Restaurant sehr britisch. Das Essen war einfach fantastisch. Es gibt nicht auszusetzen! Auch der Preis von 45 Pfund für 3 Gänge ist mehr als fair! The staff was very attentive and accommodating. The grounds around the property are charming and the ambience in the hotel/restaurant is very British. The food was simply fantastic. There is nothing to complain about! Also the price of 45 pounds for 3 courses is more than fair!

Glengarry Castle Hotel is my new all time favorite hotel. Here's why: it's a beautiful manor house on the grounds of the old Invergarry Castle. rooms are beautiful and individually decorated. Ours had a fantastic view of Loch Oich. very comfortable furnishings. The mattress was great, and we had a nice little sitting area as well. nice bathroom the shower had great water pressure. The toilet can be a little slow to refill, but when you remember the house is 100+ years old, you can't complain. The area immediately around the hotel is amazing to explore.
