food was excellent, really tasty and affordable prices. the location and service were great too. The staff was really nice and helpful.

my spouse and I enjoyed the food with the prenchant fox. the map is quite complete with a good choice of Alsatian specialties. relatively affordable.

ate with work colleagues for lunch. the place was full to crack and needed the reservation. There was a fat liver aperitif, which was great, and some sort of pie for the main dish, which was good. very nice and very authentic atmosphere. It's worth a try. Speisekarte ansehen

the restaurant is located in kruteneau. the building is really beautiful outside but also inside. about food, it was so good and the quantity was enough. quality and quantity are really what makes this restaurant so awesome. waitresses are also very nice. If you want to eat alsatian food, it's perfect

I got the blue cord that was spectacular! with many different traditional sides. . . service is good and reasonable prices. Make sure you call for a reservation because it is quite complete most of the time. the location in the middle of the city is also excellent, less than 5 minutes walk from the cathedral. . . but public transport is also just around the corner of the street.

This is a great place to go with teenagers because the portions are generous! the frame is in an old chapel that is of origin. The kitchen is very classic: we had a blue cord, a duck magret, veal kidneys and a pepper-spot. fries, rice and other accompanying dishes were also generous portions. the restaurant was very busy, so the service was not careful and the owner was nervous. we went to "the prechanting fox" for lunch during our Christmas market visit in late November 2016. I guess it was under the old direction. the restaurant is outside the old town but easily accessible in a few minutes walk. is inside an old building and looks "old" but very comfortable. We asked for different dishes such as duck magret with cherry sauce, sauerkraut milk pig and plums, mushrooms and wild duck cooked with red wine. everything was tasty and the amount of food was generous. with a few accompaniment dishes and a lot of beer, the bill was 95 €, I hope the new direction will keep the line!

...but. The service sucked. Let's focus first on positive things. food was delicious, the setting is beautiful and as it is in the middle of the city it is very accessible. However, the service deteriorated, the waitress is overloaded with work and it took forever to get our orders taken. Once she arrived, the waitress served the wine in a clearly dirty gladd. When we told her there were things floating in the glass, she picked them up with the tip of a knife. I've never seen this before. And getting the bill overturned was a nightmare. located in the center of the krutenau, it was an ancient chapel, which was transformed into a restaurant around 1880. the location is fantastic with an Alsatian design and a great fresco that retrace the history of the place. food is what you expect from an alsatian restaurant, excellent and fresh local products and dishes. I suggest you take the duck magret or the orange chicken, amazing. They also offer a high quality game. portions are generous and prices are very attractive. the selection of wines is also typical of the region, you will find all kinds of typical wines produced in the Alsatian vineyard. but the best part is the service, friendly and ready to help you.
