Exceptional restaurant, you will not be disappointed, been four times now and the quality, presentation and service Is the same each visit. We ate outside by a river and lock, beautiful setting. No hesitation in recommending as one of our top rated restaurants.

Well worth seeking this lovely restaurant out. We had a family lunch there under the poplar trees by the water. The food was delicious with the right amount of choice and the sommelier was very helpful. Not cheap but well worth it. The service was...excellent and friendly.

amazing eating in a beautiful location. we had both Fois grass with sturgeon and clementine followed by bauch schwein. then I had a chocolate bomb and he had a lemon. wee to accompany. the restaurant is marinated in the river. tricky to too. but worth the effort if they like gourmet food.

we were recommended this restaurant and were not disappointed. parking was a confusion, but parked along the river under the trees. we had an excellent day of lunch under the soon in the trees that looked beyond the river. good food and weep. we took up with our dog without problems. will be back!

If you are ever in the Area and you don't visit this Restaurant then you have missed something very Special. The presentation,combination and Taste is Excellent. The Service was attentative and the Wine for a Restaurant of this Quality are very reasonably priced. For us...the Quality,Price and the surroundings just very Special.

wow, we loved this restaurant of the beaten stretch- the eating was absolutely delicious, we ordered the entree and 2 mains of the day- duck terrarine, fish (julienne de lyne, a local catch) and the chicken juika, tasteful and with a love for the...produce run from a passionate maître d cook and put them in a stunning chef. we are so glad that we made this little way around during the trip from bordeaux to chambord.

Five of us came here to celebrate my birthday and the food was second to none. We chose the taster' menu that included small portions of all the menus available and I lost track of the servings. The service and quality of food was exceptional...in every respect and it is no wonder that this Restaurant is so highly rated. TIP. If your car has a wide wheelbase do not attempt to cross the narrow bridge. We managed it but only just!

Right next to the River. A little fancy, so not somewhere we would usually take the kids. Family booked for a birthday celebration. Disappointed regarding service time. We were a large group and had been advised we needed a set menu prior to dining. It...took more than an hour for entree to be served and then another 30 plus minutes between entree and main. When the food arrived, it was good. Portion size was good, as was flavour. Staff weren't very friendly or engaging, very unwelcoming towards the 6 children we had with our group. Birthday cake was 10/10. Wouldn't come back for service, however the location and food were great.

the environment outside the tables under the shadow of the massive plan trees on the river Sèvre-Niortaise is beautiful. and the fixed price lunch that we had was evenly excellent and inventive, with the exception of my dessert, the tbh a bit from. so why only 4*? it's all a bit serious and po-faced. the employees are attentive, courteous and professional, but the atmosphere lacks that happy buzz that the really top places all seem to have. I'd forget to go if you can't eat outside. the interieur is indentikit designer-posh and a bit gloomy for my taste. but outside has a certain wow factor. I wish they were going to loosen up a bit.
