Had an excellent pre-show dinner here. Wonderful drinks, food and vibe. Loved the pasta sheets( handkerchiefs) and the burrata was delicious. Staff were really friendly and seemed happy to be there which is always a good sign. Can’t go wrong with a negroni and some red wine

This restaurant certainly lives up to the hype! Every dish boasts beautiful flavors and delicate aromas. The pasta portions were larger than I anticipated! While the bar service was a bit slow, the food came out extraordinarily fast. The prices were quite reasonable for such a prestigious establishment!

We booked in advance and luckily too as it was full. Seated at the bar area ordered the ham to start off with and then then famous handkerchief pasta and spicy pork ragu. The handkerchief pasta was really very good, simple ingredient with just egg, butter and walnut and yet so delicious. Service was impeccable highly recommended! Speisekarte ansehen

We managed to get a seat at lunch time at the bar (but I HIGHLY recommend getting a reservation, tables are fully reserved ~4-5 days in advance). We just had the silk handkerchief pasta which was to die for, and for £9.5 it was unbeatable. Payment by card. The menu is slightly different from their other location but equally delicious!

I thought this was unreal and I would come back all the time if I was in London. Some absolutely delicious pasta. Worth noting that if you over order, you can't take leftovers home with you as everything is made fresh and there's food safety issues if you take it with you. The silk handkerchiefs and egg are bomb, but the braised ox cheek was my favourite

Wow that’s all i have to say. A must if in London. The pasta is absolutely delicious the service is impeccable that goes the extra mile to make sure you are having a wonderful meal. Everyone in the store was fantastic today. 10/10 recommend to try this place out. The silk handkerchiefs dish is definitely a must try, one of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had. Hands down the best pasta in London! Incredible value, top-notch quality, and absolutely delicious. It surpasses many well-known pasta restaurants in the city, and you simply can’t beat the value here! The standout dish is definitely the silk towel—it's a must-try. We also ordered the cacio e pepe and the nduja pasta, and we sampled five different pastas along with a starter to share among four of us, which allowed us to taste a little bit of everything. The place is always busy, so make sure to book at least a week in advance!

Two good friends, knowing my passion for Italian cuisine, recently pointed me to Grace Dent's review of Bancone in The Guardian from last week. Naturally, I immediately searched for the review online and felt compelled to go there—soon! As luck would have it, I found out that I would be in the area just a few days later. I had tickets to the highly acclaimed production of King Lear featuring the legendary Sir Ian McKellen at the Duke of York's Theatre on St. Martin's Lane, which is just around the corner from Bancone on William IV Street—barely a two-minute walk away.
