"We visited on a Monday evening just as they were opening up at 8pm. Sat outside as it was a warm evening. Surprised at how curt the waiter was, a marked difference from the other places we visited in Toledo. I had deer stew chunks of meat in a sauce. Fortunately we 'd been brought a basket of bread, as the stew came by itself. Around a third of the meat was just fat. My wife had the steak which was enormous but she had to sort through large amounts of fat to get to the meat. Again around a third of it was fat. This place is in the guidebooks as a 'must visit ' but we were very disappointed. Maybe it 's better for a drink and tapas inside, later in the evening?"

Sitio típico, aunque está en zona turística siguen poniendo comida tradicional, siguen viniendo muchos toledanos. Servicio excelente, organizado, rapido y amable, muy simpática María, no se puede ser más maja. Platos contundentes. Menú diario.

“UN MUST DE TOLEDO” Sitio histórico, con encanto y especialidad en Carcamusas, el plato típico de Toledo. También pedidos el guiso de ciervo, muy recomendable. Buenos precios, buen ambiente y céntrico. *Consejo: Si hay mucha gente, a la derecha de la puerta hay una ventana donde también puedes comer.

Lo mejor, lo auténtico que es el restaurante, muy bien, el servicio, lo que no convence, algunos platos del menú muy sencillos, mal pan, postres flojos, el precio no es barato.. Rico el asadillo manchego y las famosas carcamusas no son nada del otro mundo, ahora bien, la perdiz buenisima! Aunque la comida estuvo bien, no me convenció, no repetiría..

Los platos son de porciones muy buenas, quedamos completamente satisfechos. El sabor es único, se siente que es comida casera, con recetas espectaculares. Recomiendo mucho probar las carcamusas (especialidad de la casa). El lugar es pequeño pero acogedor, en cuanto entras te sientes en familia, sobre todo por María que es muy atenta, servicial y amable!!
