"They offer a good selection of vegetarian dishes, and the menu is family-friendly, ideal for those dining with young children. We tried one of their specials, which they happily adapted for us to be vegetarian. It was a goat cheese pizza topped with rocket and Parma ham, with the ham substituted for cherry tomatoes—absolutely delicious! We also sampled another pizza from the daily menu called "Summertime," which included pine nuts, figs, and honey, but notably without a tomato base. While it was beautifully crafted, we found it a bit too sweet, which we should have expected given the ingredients. Alongside our pizzas, we ordered a side of chips. They were nice but a bit on the greasy side. Additionally, we tried some amazing olives with chili; if you love spicy flavors, these are a must-try! Overall, this is a fantastic little find, perfect for families looking for freshly made pizzas at fair prices."

"My friend is disabled at the moment, due to illness, when we looked for somewhere that had allergy friendly as my friend is gluten free. We asked the young lady if there was anything available gluten free for lunch which was around 1.15pm.she said no nothing oh we have a chocolate brownie, as my friend had struggled to get in she didn’t want to try anywhere else so sat with a cake for her lunch, I asked if it was possible to have a salad, told no we don’t do salads. I asked for a side salad with my sandwich to be told it had to be In sandwich.very dissatisfied with today I was taking my lovely friend out and also she was trying to cheer me up from my husband’s bereavement."

"We were upstairs almost on our own so the ambiance was negligible. We had the pre theatre menu which sounded reasonably priced until you realised that add ins (eg chips) were extra on some choices. My fish and chips was good and the puds were large tasty portions. My coffee was great but my husbands was cold. We probably won’t go back. The service was excellent!!!"

"Lovely atmosphere. Tasty starters, both Ox cheek and Lamb tender and the beer battered onion rings are the best I have EVER had!!! Deffo recommend you try these! All food well seasoned. The prices very reasonable. The only downside was when listening to the specials at another table, it became apparent our first waitress had missed out one of them. If I am in Rainhill again I would like to come back and try something different."

"After being recommended vigour by an friend, I popped in for lunch. On arrival, I was greeted by a friendly staff member who made me feel welcome. Going through the extensive menu full of delicious delights and delicacies, I opted for shredded pork tortillas and pork bao bao for starters, and steak (medium rare and eggs (soft poached. For mains with a refreshing cola with ice, and a creamy coffee for after. The atmosphere in there is really quite nice. The rustic vibe, of exposed bricks, rot iron fixtures and neon signs gave it plenty of character. While the ability to see into the kitchen gave you a good sense of connection to where the action truly takes place. Their shredded pork tortillas came as a trio with a lovely dip. Being a starter, they were small but flavorful. The bao bao which i can only describe as tortillas but in a softer and thicker wrap with a slightly sweet note to them were lovely, and made for a pleasant new experience. They were quite accommodating when I asked for peppercorn sauce for my steak, and managed to do a flat ironed steak to perfect medium rare. With creamy yolk gently glazing it, every mouthful was a joy. I will also note their coffee was particularly creamy and frothy which I really liked. Now, the one potential down side for some is the prices. While the food I had was lovely, and I don't at all regret going. I will say it's not somewhere you go to eat on a tight budget. You pay for the atmosphere, and the food quality is above many typical cookie cutter restaurants. My meal came to just over £34 drinks included, and while I can't make it a regular, I surely will be making it a spot my son and I go to treat ourselves. I will say that if I had my son with me at the time, I could have split the starters and just added chips to the mains to feed both of us quite happily for not much more. Should you be in a position to go regularly, take advantage of their loyalty scheme and get some tasty perks."
