Beach - Speisekarte

We went for the carvery. Had gammon … slimy and undercooked. My daughter had the turkey again undercooked. The rest of the meal was awful to,burnt roasts and parsnips but mushy veg. The gravy and mash was nice. Would not recommend.

Sat 6th April food was delicious hot. Sun 14th April food was less than average not hot. Can only presume they were different chefs. We ate the carvery at 1pm ish. I don't think we'll eat again on a Sunday but maybe a Saturday when the other chef is on.

Went out for a family meal it’s was very busy. I choose the carvery option which I wouldn’t recommend. The mash had never seen a potato , meat dry veg undercooked. Couldn’t not eat wouldn’t recommend. Only decent thing was my sons children’s meal. Disappointing Speisekarte ansehen

I stopped by this afternoon for lunch after exiting the highway. We ordered the katsu curry and three small plates. The dishes were served hot and fresh and arrived promptly. The bartenders were attentive and inquired about our meal. I will definitely come back again.

Today was my first visit to this restaurant and I must say, the staff were exceptionally friendly. From the guy behind the bar, to the guy on the carvery, to the lady who checked on our food, and another lady who helped us with parking. Two of us had the carvery, while one had the scampi and chips, and all the meals were very good.

My wife and I are regulars here and the carvery never disappoints. Choice of Ham, Turkey and Beef loads of choice on the veg, and Yorkshire Puddings are the best. We have never had a bad meal here, so if you are in the area, it's well worth a visit and the bill won't be high. Also got to say a word about the staff who are friendly and helpful. We took our dog a walk around the lake, it was awful weather ,when we came back i realised id lost my phone! Im so lucky some kind man had handed it into the beach pub ,the 2 gentlemen behind the bar were so kind and returned it to me , Myself and my boy had a lovely lunch and drinks and a game of pool ,dried off and warmed up ,i would definatly recommend ,good food and great service !! I ordered food at the bar at 6:50 and am only writing this review because I am still bored and waiting for my food at 8:10. It was not overly busy with plenty of free tables. I ordered the ultimate mixed grill, only to be told that they were out of steak. Additionally, there was no carvery available. When the food finally arrived, it was not hot at all, only tepid at best. I overheard another customer asking for his burger to be warmed up because it was cold. The waitress was very apologetic, but even though it is just pub grub, I have had hotter and tastier food from the food truck on Fishwick St. I will never eat here again.

Avoid this place like the plague unless you come without a car: My wife and I visited here on the 31st of march to enjoy a drink and a walk by the lake: I paid the euro car park machine in the Beach public house car park for 3 hours and stayed approximately 2 hours and 20 minutes thinking I was absolutely covered with the time: Only to find a week later I received a parking fine of £100 for exceeding “2” hours, as stated I paid extra for “3” hours, totally disgusting: Be Very careful on leaving your car in the Beach public house car park even if like me you paid for extra hours: I most certainly will not return here: Spoiled a mostly enjoyable day.
