Good lunchtime menu and pleasant staff but a wait of over one hour from ordering to receiving our food spoiled the lunch

The waitress at Black Horse was cheerful, friendly, and extremely efficient. She made our visit a real pleasure. Keep up the excellent service!

Excellent wee find. Don't be put off by the outside. Quirky inside. Lovely staff and a varied menu. Food was freshly prepared for you. Great value for money. Definitely worth a visit.

This restaurant has a charming atmosphere and beautiful decor. The food was excellent, with each dish presented beautifully and made with fresh ingredients. The service was flawless and we felt very welcomed during our visit.

The food was ok but took ages to come out. The staff weren’t overly friendly. We walked in and we were standing about wondering if we were to choose a table or seat ourselves. The staff member could see us but just ignored us. We eventually sat ourselves. The portion sizes were good but I wouldn’t rush back. Speisekarte ansehen

Went for a family meal out on a Saturday night and the food was incredible! So much choice and really good value for money. Place was very clean and nicely decorated inside (it even had a gorgeous tree for Christmas). Almost all the food was homemade and came nicely presented. Staff was very kind and friendly and couldn't do enough to help you. Would definitely recommend this lovely little place!

It's been just over two years since we last ate at this establishment and there was definitely a drop in standard when it came to food and cleanliness. We decided just to have two bacon rolls as it was quite early and they weren't all that great. I often judge premises by the cleanliness of their toilet facilities and I found them in need of a good clean. Don't think we will be eating there again in the future.

When we visited previously around a year ago the food was basic, but very reasonably priced and suited the kids just fine. Today was a total disappointment. You are made to pay upon ordering, which saves time sitting around waiting for the bill after you’ve eaten, but can become problematic when they have run out of a majority of those things you’ve ordered. I ordered a main and drink for me and my two sons so 6 items …my two first choice main courses were unavailable and my youngest son’s first 2 drink choices were sold out. This was 1:00pm on a Sunday and again we’d already paid. My alternative main was £2 cheaper than what I paid for and there was no offer of a refund or complimentary dri... Speisekarte ansehen
