one of the best pub menus I've had for a long time. they were short on the staff, but they wouldn't know! service was exceptional and the food was delicious, fresh and well cooked.

Visited on the first night of our holiday. The staff were wonderfully welcoming. A great selection of drinks and really good menu for food. We had a couple of dishes on offer and the food was really nice. Looking forward to visiting again. Speisekarte ansehen

I dined here tonight, July 4th, 2022, and it was absolutely fantastic! They even allowed us to bring in our German Shepherd dog without any issues. The service provided by Alison and her team was great and very friendly. The meal we ordered was amazing—definitely the best we've had in Looe this week. The staff here is exceptionally beautiful, and the service is excellent. The food is delicious, and the decor is warm and cozy, with comfortable seating and clean restrooms, including a baby changing station. The prices are reasonable, and the menu features main dishes and light snacks. There’s also a children's menu available. You can choose from a variety of coffees and other hot drinks—perfect for warming up after a cold walk by the sea. I highly recommend the well-made black swan!

We had dinner on the last night of our holiday, and it was the perfect way to wrap up our trip. At first, we were the only customers in the restaurant, but more people arrived after we started eating. The menu offered a great selection of dishes, and we both opted for the loaded fries, which were absolutely delicious and served in generous portions. The music playing was right up our alley, and thankfully for the staff, we didn’t start singing along! (It was British Indie/Rock.) If we find ourselves in Looe again, we will definitely come back!

Generic pub atmosphere... Wife and I visited Looe and called into what I like to call The Mucky Duck . The lovely woman who served us was also like a tourist information service. She came with dog treats for our little pooch and a bowl of water (but as it wasn 't taken from a muddy puddle, our dog wasn 't interested). The reason for not 5 stars is basically the atmosphere and decor. Modern with different shades of grey. Comfortable seating but nothing really to look around at. Nothing unique and could have been a pub anywhere. Would have been nice to have things that represented the beautiful area. Very clean, bordering sterile, lacking environment. Speisekarte ansehen
