This was my first and last time trying out this chip shop. Despite the long queue on a Friday evening, I was expecting delicious food. However, I was quite disappointed as the chips were just okay and the fish was well below average.

Got a takeaway here today.. Mini Fish Chips and a kebab wrap.. the place was very busy and had a bit of a wait. But no matter, food was prepared quickly and still piping hot when I arrived home.. nicely cooked and tasty. Guys here working very hard. I overheard the owner, I believe her name was ‘Andrea’, berating a staff member at this restaurant. It was very unprofessional and frankly, awful to witness. It is obvious that the young employees working there are in unsanitary conditions in the food preparation areas and are being paid below the legal minimum wage. This is completely unacceptable. I will not be returning here for my fish supper. Service: Take out.

It's disgraceful how the owners particularly the woman choose to treat their staff. She demonstrates a total disregard for the welfare and wellbeing of the young people employed in her business and was quite happy to confront my daughter in a shop full of people about why my other daughter left at short notice. Well! pin back your ears Andrea and TRY to listen...she left because she was treated with absolute contempt by you because she took time off with Covid and felt so upset, she couldn't return shame on you.
