Smart comfortable hotel just off Bayswater Road, shiny with marble and chandeliers.

This place was really really nicemore than I'm used to, but I handled it like a boss.

I had a delightful time at this restaurant. The portion sizes and variety were perfect.

Only bad was that we order from home and when we arrived 17 they looked surprised. We waited almost an hour for our food/tea.

The only downside was that we ordered takeout and when we arrived at 5 pm, they seemed surprised. We had to wait almost an hour for our food and drinks to be ready.

We only booked our afternoon tea a day and it was wonderful. The staff were so friendly and accommodating and were great when we asked to update it on a sparkling afternoon tea. Fantastic warm moods and delicious delicate Mascaroons! Would definitely recommend if your London tourist is just over the street of kensington gardens and is perfect for what you want from an afternoon tea and good value for money.

The hotel's location is convenient and the tea room is comfortable with a quiet ambiance and very friendly service. I would recommend using thinner slices of bread for the sandwiches. The current thick slices made the sandwiches too heavy and dry, with the fillings getting lost in the bread. The sandwiches were cut into 'soldiers' without crusts, which was nice, but they lacked delicacy. Besides that, the food was good and I enjoyed the small cakes.

The location of the hotel is comfortable and the tea room is comfortable, with a quiet ambience and with very friendly service. I would suggest that the sandwiches should be made with much thinner slices of bread. They were cut into 'Soldiers', without crusts, which is nice, but because the bread was so thick, the fillings in the bread were lost and the sandwiches too heavy, with the tendency to dry. For me, afternoon tea sandwiches should be much more sensitive. Apart from that, the food was good and liked the little cakes.
