I go regularly to Blandford Comptoir since 2016 and it has been always delicious.

Absolutely perfect food, wine, and service. For the past eight years, Blandford Comptoir has been my choice for lunch once a month.

This is a nice venue, well situated. Some of the food is good, some of it indifferent at the price. Wines are also expensive relative to quality, Service is quick and accurate. I can't really recommend it as it is not very good value for money but it is a useful fall back. Speisekarte ansehen

Good spot to catch up with friends. Not too noisy and tables well spaced. Service was good initially but later on was hard to catch attention to order more drinks and at the end to get the bill. The seafood veloute was delicious but on the small side for a main course. The steaks were good and cooked as requested. Options for wine by the carafe.

I booked an outdoor table for lunch for 2 through Opentable. We arrived 5 minutes ahead of time and there was a free table outside. At reception, I was told that this table is reserved for someone else. When asking about my reservation I was told there is nothing they can do. I asked them why they are offering the option to book outdoors if they can't honour it which was overheard by a second waiter who then responded that they generally don't take bookings outdoors. So can I have the free table outside? No, it's been booked by someone else… The staff was very rude and basically told me to sit inside or leave no apology, nothing. We went somewhere else and I won't come back.

Local treasure This genuine bistro serves exceptionally good food in a cosy, unpretentious space. I always have a satisfying time here. The staff are charming and attentive, devoted to their craft and genuinely happy to serve. The little details reveal an impressive eye for detail. The perfectly baked bread for example. One detail comes to mind, my friend ordered a fish dish, it arrived looking delicious but on top it was sprinkled with flat leaf parsley which my friend really dislikes. The waiter took it away and brought her one without the garnish even though it meant making the dish all over again. That level of service is rare these days.
