"definitiw a hidden food treasure in a lower corner of caversham with good service, great ambiente, high quality delicious Nepalese cuisine and an excellent value for money. the menu offers a large selection and there is no so-called service fee, as is now a norm for almost anywhere where they eat. they also offer deliveroo and just eat service. priya was helpful, knowledgeable and very friendly."

"platz was really busy when we arrived with people who were not booked away, so it is very popular. the staff was friendly and helpful. the table was a bit small and sometimes felt somewhat cramped, especially with overlapping table sets. it was also next to the disabled toilet. (hence the -1 star) eating was really nice and cooked, just as we asked. they also had an extensive wine list with very beautiful weeping. I'd go back if I knew I was sitting somewhere else."

"Since we last visited some years ago the Everest has made a real effort with their décor including a new beer garden out front. Lighting inside is decorative and colourful but overall ambience is a little too bright maybe? Our food was very disappointing, we ordered Everest Special Mismas and Mixed Grill Masala as mains. Both were higher priced dishes that were supposed to include prawns but there were none in either dish. The Mismas didn 't look anything like the menu photo but in fairness they do state Photos are for suggestion only: Actual Platters may appear DIFFERENT . The Masala grill was described as medium sauce but our dish was very mild with no trace of chilli heat. The stuffed paratha was undercooked and greasy. Pilau rice and vegetable bhuna side however were both very good. Kingfisher and Cobra are served on draft but both were charged 30p a pint more than the printed menu price it 's gone up was the explanation. Prices overall are fair but I was hoping for authentic tasty food that at least lived up to the menu descriptions."

"Ich habe hier gegessen, als es unter einem anderen Namen bekannt war und das neue Dekor sehr unterschiedlich ist. Denken Sie eher an ein modernes, erstklassiges Boutique-Hotel als an den früheren romantisch verblassenden Nachtclub. Sie akzeptieren nur sehr wenige Cover, also war es überhaupt nicht beschäftigt, aber Dies bedeutete auch sehr wenig Personal, so dass es gelegentlich schwierig war, die Aufmerksamkeit eines Kellners auf sich zu ziehen. Das Essen war insgesamt gut und mein vegetarischer Freund war besonders erfreut, dass sie nicht die üblichen Cop-Outs mit der Option "V" nahmen. Ich hatte eine passable, aber nicht brillante Hühnerroulade, die leicht verkocht war, aber mit einem ausgezeichneten Riesling gut abrutschte. Mein Hauptgericht war gebratener Lachs und war auf einer ganz anderen Ebene perfekt zubereitet und lecker. Die Portionsgrößen erinnerten jedoch an die Nouvell-Küche, und pro Kopf für ein 2-Gänge-Mittagessen ist dies nicht die Art von Ort, an dem Sie regelmäßig ein Mittagessen einnehmen, es sei denn, Sie genießen ein schlechtes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Die Weinkarte hatte eine gute Tiefe und die Preise waren nicht schrecklich, aber es war klar zu sehen, wo der Gewinn liegt.
